Ammonium sulfate is a very popular mineral fertilizer most commonly used in the spring. It is composed of nitrogen, which promotes the rapid growth of plants, and sulfur, which makes the fruit quality, and extends their shelf life.

Ammonium sulfate is made in the form of a white crystalline powder, may have a yellow or pink color. The fertilizer dissolves very well in water. This fertilizer is not aggressive, ie it does not harm either plants or humans.

After fertilizer application to the soil, it does not evaporate and is not washed away with rain water, because of this the roots of the plants can absorb it well.

Application

  • This fertilizer can be used for many plants: cabbage, radishes, turnips, beets, potatoes, wheat, flax, buckwheat, soybeans.
  • The only limitation for the fertilizer is that its use must be discontinued 14 days before the harvest, so that nitrates do not accumulate in the plants. Application rates: 20 g per square meter, 7-10 g per row.
  • Also, this fertilizer can feed various fruits and roots. Because sulfur has a good effect on the quality and taste of the fruit, it prevents premature spoiling.
